Recently, with the spread of M2M and IoT, there has been an increase in the use of consumer electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, and computers in vehicle environments like cars, buses, trucks, trains, and construction machinery. However, due to the harsh power conditions in vehicles, consumer-level electronic devices often experience failures believed to be caused by high voltage spikes. In response, our company has developed a protection board to safeguard electronic devices from high voltage spikes that occur in harsh power environments. We provide this in a case that allows customers to use it in real-world environments, as a USB-compatible surge protector called "CAT-PT1."
